I’m calling this “The Perfect Christian” because Christ came for the sick...not the righteous. And since I suck at life and I suck at religion, I’m the perfect example of who should be chasing after Jesus. “Perfect” does not describe my ability to follow the Old Testament law, the condition of my heart, or the integrity of my character but, rather, it describes the qualitative example of who Jesus is calling to follow him. He’s calling the sinner, and I am definitely a perfect version of that.
