The truth does not always come in accordance with our human desire. We cannot frame truth to fit our hearts desire. Sometimes God has to correct us in a way that causes us to know that He is the LORD. Both King Nebuchadnezzar and King Zedechiah came to understand that it was neither human strength nor weakness that caused the captivity of God’s people as the LORD made it clear that He caused it — Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, to all who were carried away captive, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon.
I pray that you will hear His voice and that you will know the truth, so that the truth shall make you free. May you never be in spiritual bondage all the days of your life.
