Since 2002 Co-op Power has raised more than $320,00 in Member Equity, $840,00 in member loans and $850,000 in local investment to support the development of community-scale clean energy projects.   Co-op Power is a consumer-owned sustainable energy cooperative that operates within a regional network of Community Energy Cooperatives to create a multi-class, multi-racial movement for a sustainable and just energy future.   As President of Co-Op Power Lynn Beander upholds the vision to not only build environmentally and economically sustainable communities but to educate and organize people in the region to use less energy, to use renewable and regionally-produced energy and to vote with their dollars for democratically-owned, group-based businesses that permanently anchor capital in their region.   Let's dive in.
