This morning as we continue in our study through the book of Ecclesiastes, we consider Ecclesiastes 9:7-10. In light of the inevitability of death, the Preacher calls us to seize the day and live this life to the fullest. God has given us many blessings within our lives on this earth that we are meant to enjoy, but ultimately we are called to find our enjoyment in our relationship with Him.While death may be inevitable, death is not the end for those who have been saved by Christ. His promise is not just for eternal life, but for an abundant life here on earth as well. We are called to enjoy our lives here on earth, and that enjoyment is most fully realized when we live our lives for Jesus.
