The motion picture Wicked has already grossed $175 million worldwide in just one week. My wife will see it with some of our nieces and nephews on Friday. I took her to see it on Broadway years ago, and that was more than enough for me. I've never been a big fan of musicals, so I don't mind missing the movie version. Interestingly, some theaters are advertising that they will allow no singing along. Since the Broadway show ran for so long, most people who go always know the songs by heart.
