Welcome to "Something came from Baltimore" and tonight on the phone is John Doe for the legendary punk band "X".  "X' just released there first recording with the original line-up  in 27 years and it is there 40th anniversary since there 1980 debut, "Los Angeles".  John is here to promote the new recording, "Alphabetland"  and we go off the rails and chat about a whole bunch of topics like his "love/hate"relationship with Baltimore, the best murder scene he ever acted in "Roadhouse - the Movie", what would it be like if he played the John Goodman character on "Roseanne", playing card on an Amtrak with  Rachel Maddow, and the "Quitter's Coffee Shop".  And, "X" made it to the finish line with 40 years of amazing music.
