Our guest is Simon Mordant AO - one of Australia's leading investment bankers, philanthropists, businessman and art collectors.
Simon is the Executive Co-Chairman of Luminis Partners, an independent corporate advisory firm founded in 2015 to provide strategic expertise on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, divestments & capital market activities.
Prior to Luminis, Simon was the co-founder of financial advisory group Caliburn Partnership, which sold to US based Greenhill in 2010 in a $200m deal.
Outside of his business interests, Simon is an Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of Milan (UCSC), an Honorary Professor at the University of Melbourne, a Trustee of the American Academy in Rome, an executive of the International Council of the Tate and a Board Member of The Centre of Independent Studies.
He is also a Director of the Gavan Institute of Medical Research, Vice President of The Museum of Modern Art in New York & Chair of the NSW Government's Visual Arts Board.
Simon's previous roles include as a Director of the ABC, Board Member of Opera Australia, Director of Ord Minnett & Chairman of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
