A conversation with Lauren Bogar, Regional Sales Manager for Amphenol Fiber Systems International. Lauren is based in Florida and has been with Amphenol for six years. We talk about starting her new position at FSI after being a sales engineer for the military and aerospace group and what it's like to transition from covering all businesses to just covering one. We talk about the importance of relationship-building in her sales roles, not just for her customers but for her co-workers. We talk about growing up on the Space Coast of Florida, how the technology inspired her to become an engineer, and her tremendous pride in seeing the fruits of her labor. We talk about her battle with breast cancer, what it taught her about herself, and how she'd like to motivate others to get checked regularly. And we discuss her desert island album, book, and movie.
