A conversation with Kyle Christoffersen, the new marketing director for Amphenol Aerospace in Sidney, NY. Kyle has been with Amphenol for 11 years, mainly in manufacturing and quality roles. We talk about his transition from the operations side of the business to leading the marketing team at the front end of the business with a unique perspective he can bring to his new team. We talk about his different operational roles- from quality and molding to plating and head of materials. We talk about growing up in the Binghamton, NY area, doing well in math, and how a visit to a BAE factory started his fascination with manufacturing. We talk about starting a landscaping business in high school and DJing local events to pay for college before settling into work life after graduation.
