A conversation with John Whittaker, Product Marketing and Business Development Manager for Amphenol PCD in Beverly, MA.  John has the unique challenge of managing new product development while helping to sell products from our European sister divisions at the same time.  We talk about the two kinds of people in this world – circular connector people and rectangular connector people.  We also talk about his transition from an electrical engineer to product management, and we talk about his experiences as a high school basketball referee where I ask the question, “What’s more difficult – dealing with an unruly coach or an unruly customer?”  This is The Interface.
