So today im in conversation with Eilin O’Carroll about her very impressive renovation of a building which is steeped in incredible history. Eilin admits that her background in asset management does not excite her greatly which is a huge part of why she puts so much of herself and her creative flair in to this renovation of a 250 year old house. Eilin has really impressed me with this renovation not just because of the hard work and dedication and her understanding of being sympathetic to an historical house but also because she really cares about giving something back to the community with this building. Eilins' husband David is an electronic engineer and plays an integral part to the renovation by taking Eilins' ideas and reworking them in to manageable and practical designs that they can take on themselves.
