The Honeyboy Turner Band's Podcast

Fronted by harmonica player/singer, John “Honeyboy” Turner, The Honeyboy Turner Band (HTB) has built a strong reputation as a solid blues band playing Chicago Blues since it’s beginning in 1991. In addition to Honeyboy, the original line up remains intact consisting of Harvey Brindell on guitar, Dave “Shakey Dizz” Wagner on bass, and Gary “Big Easy” Williams on drums. HTBs shows have always been a mix of original blues and blues standards. The Honeyboy Turner Band released it first CD “Preachin’ The Blues” on the ismist label (currently based in Minneaplois) in 1994 under the name Honeyboy Turner & Cryin Heart. They did a follow up “Live at The Zoo Bar” in 1996. “Preachin’ The Blues” continues to have strong sales via HTB live performances. HTB is close to finishing their latest CD “Billiard Playin’ Mama” which should be ready for release by the spring of 2013.
