The former defender played professional football for over 15 years, working his way through the lower leagues in Spain, before making the move to England, where he played for the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons and Charlton.

This episode looks back at his career and his journey into coaching, as well as discussing the role football has in Spanish culture.
