God directs you to stay in fellowship with Him by using rebound (1 John 1:9) whenever you sin and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We all have a sin nature. It will neutralize you if you allow it. That’s why building a FLOT line in your soul is so important. Allowing your sin nature to control your thoughts and actions will make you weak and take you out of the plan of God. “The flesh (sin nature) wars against the Spirit and the Spirit wars against the flesh, they are contrary one to another” (Gal 5:17). If you don’t rebound your sin, divine discipline will either break you or it’ll take you. “Don’t be deceived, God is not mocked. Whatever man sows, he’s also going to reap” (Gal 6:7).
