Tying current events with Bible prophecy is speculation. What you see happening in America is the downfall of a client nation but not necessarily an indication of the return of Christ. According to the Bible, the next prophetic event is the Rapture. “We who are still alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will be with the Lord forever” (1 Thes 4:13-18). There is a seven-year period called the Tribulation between the Rapture and the Second Advent when our Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth for His Millennial Reign. The Tribulation will be horrific and during this time evil will spread without restraint. During the Tribulation is when the mark of the beast will be a temptation but you don’t need to be concerned with this because if you’re a Christian you won’t be in the Tribulation. The Judgment Seat of Christ occurs during the Tribulation when all your human good will be burned up because anything you’ve done in carnality is unacceptable to God. The battle of Armageddon ends the Tribulation. Satan is defeated. Redeem your time wisely. Grow spiritually.
