Born Shai Keisean Browne on the 23rd of July 1991 in Barbados, Shai took the leap from thinking about being a deejay in 2011 to "doing" in 2014. His first real gig landed him the honour of becoming a promotional deejay/emcee for Cockspur Rum at their Cockspur Rum Party at the Oistins Bay Garden, Christ Church. This was only the beginning as "Touchdown" really did touchdown, landing gigs as the resident deejay at a weekly party called "The Jump Off" held in the ever popular St. Lawrence Gap and also at "Tropic" a monthly party held all across the beautiful island of Barbados, thus cementing his ability as being able to both build a "vibe" and also being able to bring a party to an exciting close, always leaving the crowd wanting more. More and more gigs would see DJ Touchdown being featured in deejay line ups comprising the best of the best from the island of Barbados and overseas, including Kevin Crown, DJ Puffy, Jus Jay, Scott Le Roc & Mali Fresh, Hutchy & Sizz, Jon Doe & Tami and many others. He has also established himself as a master of genres and crowds, having also featured at parties such as Awaken, Bim Tipsy and Jabnival and also being able to lockdown yet another resident deejay spot, this time at the popular McBride's Nightclub & Lounge. With such a reputation already in what is a young career and having most recently joined the team at the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation on what is the premier FM radio station in Barbados, 98.1 The One, one can only guess at the heights that DJ Touchdown will be able to attain in the future.
