Listen "The True King and a Town Hall Gathering"
Episode Synopsis
In today’s Coffee with the Superintendent, we open God’s Word to 1 Samuel 10:17–27 and see how Israel’s first king, Saul, reminds us of the futility of trusting in outward appearance and human strength. In contrast, we reflect on Christ as the true King, who rules with humility, obedience, and eternal authority. From this truth, we are called to fix our trust in Him above all earthly rulers.
For the second pour, we celebrate birthdays from this past weekend and today, including alumnae, students, and even a special shout-out to Ms. Sally in the lunchroom. Today’s hot meal is chicken tenders with mac and cheese, and we’re kicking off our very first live Coffee with the Superintendent Town Hall from 7:30–8:30 a.m. Plus, our Girls Golf team has a meet this afternoon at Gates Four with a 1:00 p.m. tee time.
