Listen "Rescued in the Waiting: David's Courage and Christ's Fulfillment"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we walk through 1 Samuel 23:1-5 and watch David seek the Lord, stand in courage, and rescue the people of Keilah even while running for his life. David's faith and obedience offer a powerful window into the heart of God’s chosen king and point us to the greater rescue we find completed in Jesus. We reflect on how trusting God in uncertain seasons shapes our character, strengthens our walk, and invites us to serve others even when life feels unsettled. Then in our second pour, we celebrate student and staff birthdays, enjoy pizza and costume day on campus, and look forward to tonight’s Fall Festival at BBC. It’s a full day of joy and community, centered in Christ.
