Sometimes taking the camper doesn't make sense. Usually it's totally a money decision. If you'd rather jump off a cliff than stay in a hotel it always make sense for you to camp, but for us it's not so black and white. We take you through different options and our thought process to make that decision.
Keep checking those reservations. Sometimes the only campsite left is one that you might not be too stoked about. Trust us. Keep checking and calling. You never know what is going to open up.
Option 1: Camping for 2 nights/600 mile trip. Total cost: $267
