Firstly, a zoo is an area in which animals, especially wild animals, are kept so that people can go and look at them or study them. Dublin Zoo first opened its doors in 1831, making it the fourth oldest zoo in the world. Although some may regard this as impressive, not everyone can appreciate this fact or what goes on within the walls of the zoo. Within this episode we discuss points for, and against zoos by sharing two very different experiences. Our wonderful guest speaker this week is... 'Jodi Mejury' from Co. Down.
