Day falls on January 26. Whilst every country has problems, I reckon Australia is a great place to be; it certainly has been to date. I must say it's not so great as it was when I was growing up. The nation you live in is like a marriage. There are problems. There are challenges. There are difficulties. No country is perfect. In fact, I wonder whether any of you think that there is a perfect country on the planet? But valuing your country gives you the passion, the enthusiasm, the impetus to protect it, to work for it, to understand it and to help it develop and progress. I will share eight personal perspectives of what I think it means to be an Aussie.
