Episode Synopsis

Pastor Megan and Pastor Erik discuss Luke 7:18-23. Jesus’ definition of the Messiah appears to be: the one who provides miraculous healing and brings good news to the poor. Even John, whose role is to point to the Messiah, isn’t sure that Jesus is the Messiah. He doesn’t act or teach as people might expect. there have already been many who have taken offense at Jesus, and it is still true today. People continue to try to make Jesus into something he’s not. Why can’t people recognize Jesus for who he is?
