Rabbi Yossi Marrus is the spiritual leader and executive director of Chabad of Boerne, Texas. He is also the Dean and Director of Judaic Studies at the Starr Family Jewish Day School in San Antonio, Texas. 
Over the course of his career he has served in many communal and educational roles including;  Associate Rabbi, Cantor, Program and Youth Director, Synagogue Administrator, Senior Educational Administrator, Principal and more.  He has directed dozens of educational, spiritual and chaplaincy programs. Rabbi Marrus is passionate about Jewish education and believes deeply in the relevance and beauty of our traditions and faith. He is a Birthright fellow, frequently leading educational trips for young adults to Israel. He holds a Bachelors of Religious Studies from Rabbinical College of America and a Semicha Degree(Rabbinical Ordination) from the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY and Yeshivat Chabad Tzfat, Israel.
Rabbi Marrus lives in Boerne Texas with his wife Malkie and together are blessed with six wonderful children (and children in-law) and are enjoying being grandparents.
