Episode Synopsis "Episode 11: What I've Learned Filming Weddings 5+ Years"

Talk about a hard to do job. In this episode Ben & Mallory talk about filming weddings for over 5 years. It's hard to fathom doing that for so long especially since every time I film a wedding I say "I'm never doing that again" but it really has been a blast. Some advice, some laughs and of course some great content. Thanks for listening! See you next week! Hopefully with Sam! ;) Trey Kennedy Wedding Video: https://youtu.be/jFZWi3pY-ug Formula for calculating pricing: First take how many weddings you want to shoot in a year and convert that to a percentage. (EXAMPLE: 5 weddings (20%) 10 weddings (10%) etc...) You can always do more if you want. Then take the total price of your gear and multiply that by the percentage of weddings you want to film. (EXAMPLE: $4000 X .20 = $800) Then add your hourly wage with estimated hours (EXAMPLE: 50 X 15 = $750) Then add in your travel expenses, rental fees and other costs associated with the wedding. (EXAMPLE: $800 + $750 + $200 = $1750) That should give you a rough estimate of what you should charge. If you have any questions feel free to send me a DM on Instagram and I would love to answer any questions you may have! Also you don't have to calculate your pricing this way, it is just a suggestion.  www.bengleasonmedia.com/podcast @benny_g7 @samuel.j.hart  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TALON!! 🥳
