Listen to two outstanding attorneys - Scott Key and Kindall Browning - dive into the world of appellate decisions from the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court on a monthly basis. Practicing law since 2001, Scott Key has a private practice devoted to appeals and post-conviction. Scott is an adjunct professor of law at Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law, where he co-teaches Appellate Practice and Procedure with Judge Stephen Dillard of the Georgia Court of Appeals. Scott has also taught Mercer Law's habeas corpus project and supervised third year law students through Mercer's habeas corpus program. And in addition, Scott teaches some undergraduate courses through the College of Liberal Arts at Mercer's undergraduate campus. He is the immediate past President of Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is the former President of the Henry County Bar Association. And Scott is also the former Chair of the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Kindall Browning is a 2012 graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a 2015 graduate of Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law. She’s been at the Houston County Public Defender’s Office Since 2016. Kindall has been a member of Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2016. She is a 2019 graduate of the Young Lawyer’s Division Leadership Academy and a 2019 graduate of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers's Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program.
