But before that she was a photographer who converted to Islam after making a documentary on the Hijab asking "Why do Muslim Women wear the Hijab?". Lisa Vogl walks us through her conversion story from a devoted catholic to a practicing Muslim. Lisa then reveals the disturbing truth of her marriage to a "Pious" Muslim man who went on to beat her and abuse her. This is a heavy one.
