They might feel that they don’t have the skill or talent or just don’t want “that job” because it might be a lot of work.The second group wants to be a leader to acquire a position or title and climb the academic ladder, but quite often doesn’t really understand what leadership is. They might also not realize that there are skills that can be learned to be a more effective leader. And who is to blame? We don’t learn these skills in medical school, our training or even our faculty development courses.In this episode we will uncover new concepts of what leadership really is and encourage you to be a leader right where you are at.
