Listen "Timothy McNeil, Corner Canyon High School"
Episode Synopsis
This week's teacher feature award goes to Timothy McNeil from Corner Canyon High School. A happy parent writes "Mr McNeil teaches and expresses the importance of safety while working with the machinery and all the equipment. My son was enrolled in at least one class a year starting with freshman year. He created and built and drew amazing creations and pictures. Our son was busy with sports and his heavy school curriculum and this was an amazing outlet to let him do something he loved." Mr. McNeil receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater, and a $200 gift card to Walmart. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service. KSL NewsRadio and Zions Bank are proud to honor Utah's best teachers with the KSL Teacher Feature Awards! Since 1994, Teacher Feature has highlighted outstanding teachers throughout the State of Utah. Winning teachers are announced every Tuesday morning, September through June, on Utah's Morning News with Brian and Amanda.See our website for privacy information.
