This week's teacher feature award goes to Rachel Rolf of Hillside Middle School in Salt Lake City. She teaches math and ELP math to 7th graders. She was even a finalist presidential award for excellence in mathematics and science teaching in Utah. She says that she is thrilled because she was nominated by a fellow teacher and former supervisor who can see that she is working hard. Ms. Rolf receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
