Rev Dr Goh Seng Fong’s sermon today on Nehemiah reminded the church that God is more interested in our lives than in our ministries. Leaders must be built in character, for churches may grow and yet fail if the leader themselves are spiritually immature. Pray without ceasing, pray and wait, pray and plan. Expect great things from God and attempt great things for Him. While it costs to serve God, it also pays.
