In today’s episode Tom & Brayden become more switched onto the topic of Neurodiversity!
As it is still relatively a new topic in the clinical world, understandings around neurodiversity are becoming more widely acknowledged, however, we believe this is a topic that everyone of all ages should be more aware of so we can create more environments that are all inclusive and supportive for those who are diagnosed neurodivergent.
It is for this reason that we got the expert on neurodiversity, Felicity “Flic” Rideout in today to answer our questions, breakdown what neurodiversity is and educate us on how being more aware of the topic can benefit us all within schools, work, as well as the relationships with have with ourselves.
Felicity has a Psychology degree, is currently studying her Masters in Educational Neuroscience and has over 10 years experience working in the Mental Health field, so she is well rehearsed on the topic!
