Listen "#110 – Streamageddon and/or George Clooney Saves the American Theater"

Episode Synopsis

Can Streamageddon save the American Theater? Probably not (despite our best efforts!), but maybe George Clooney can: His one-night-only live broadcast of Broadway’s Good Night, and Good Luck marked another milestone in streaming’s push into LIVE entertainment (and not just sports, we swear!). Guest host Ian Brodsky lends his theater experience as we review the special live stream that aired on CNN and Max (formerly and soon to be known as HBO Max).
Plus: Streaming has finally overtaken TV, but YouTube has finally overtaken everything! The hottest gossip from the WaBroDisco Breakup, a look at Netflix’s growing live empire, and a special musical performance featuring a song from Ian’s new album Friendly Neighborhood Something or Other (out now wherever you get your music!).
