Emily Anne Brant is an author, speaker, and mentor, she is passionate about helping people decolonize their business and spirituality. Working at the intersection of personal development and decolonization, Emily works both directly with women of the global majority (“BIPOC”) as an empowerment coach, and is also a consultant for ally coaches who want to decolonize their business. At the heart of it all is fostering communities where everyone feels seen, safe, and truly supported so that we can all rise together!
In our conversation, Emily shared her powerful experiences speaking about decolonization in coaching at sold-out online events, and the ripple effect it has had on those in attendance. Her goal is to raise awareness around the definitions of decolonization and the importance of using correct terminology.
Emily is also a firm believer in the power of manifestation, and is dedicated to helping people of the global majority manifest success and abundance in their lives. She is not only a thought leader in her field but also an inspiration to many.
Emily also talks about her experiences of resistance when educating white women on topics related to race and privilege. She acknowledges her own privilege as a white-passing woman and talks about how she uses her influence to connect with white women and introduce them to this work. Her goal is to do this from a place of compassion and grace, understanding that she can never fully understand what it is like to live in a black or brown body.
