Episode Synopsis

“It’s a huge opportunity for growth, but it’s also a huge opportunity for failure. And that can be rough initially. As long as you have followed a path where you surround yourself with a supportive environment and a really good support network, it’s something you can weather and it can lead to really wonderful things.”
Today I sit down and chat with Taylor Vogel, who is currently working in Arts Administration as the Director of Education and Community Programs for the Fort Worth Sympathy Orchestra. She connects people in the community to the classical musical. She originally started as a teacher in public school and then made the transition to change her career. We talk all about myths about career changes and how it affected her life. Taylor also offers her own advice and what her experience was like in terms of changing her career.
