“Part of me was me just taking a chance and putting myself out there but a lot of it was, when I really look at it, a lot of it was connections...that was a chance I took. A little bit of putting yourself out there and a lot of good connections.”
Today I sit down and chat with Marla Acevedo who is an actress! She graduated with a BFA in musical theater and attended an acting school in New York City. She also has her own YouTube channel where she showcases her acting experiences for people to view. We also chat about acting myths, how acting came into her life, what it’s like to have an agent and advice for others looking at becoming an actor!
I don’t know about you all, but Marla’s passion for acting is very prominent throughout the entire conversation. When I spoke to her, with our cameras and getting that visual component, as well, it was so clear that this is what she loves to do. Careers can be painful and not fun, but Marla loves what she does and it is inspiring and so refreshing to see this from her!
