Rebecca has been a teacher for the last eighteen years. She has worked in schools where police patrol the premises and also spent time at (Gordonston School, where King Charles attended).
Throughout that time, she developed a passion for art and its therapeutic properties. As the volunteer coordinator for the LUMA Southern Light Project, she has combined her passion for art and education, engaging over 10,000 students in this public art, light, and performance initiative.
Rebecca was the winner of the Inspirational Woman Community Recognition Award. Rebecca joins us to discuss her multifaceted community role, how she stays motivated, and the impact of her work, particularly on youths in challenging situations.
