Listen "Nick Cavuoto Finding Alignment"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textJoin Wes Tankersley on this episode of Shaping Success as he talks to Entrepreneur Nick Cavuoto about his story of success.Nick’s mindset for achievement came about when he realized that people want to do something that matters. They want to make a contribution that lives on. The big question is why am I here? Who can help me get to where I need to be? The key to success is how to get there.Nick started his success story by stating that his father was a drug dealer that found Jesus. He dropped out of school with an 8th grade education. One day he broke into a church, and the people there convinced him to stay. Nick says belief and encouragement can make a difference in the path of success. Nick is the youngest of three children who were raised heavily Pentacostal. His Dad was worried the kids would turn out how he was, so he watched their every move. By the time he came along, his parents were just concerned about not dying. As a result, Nick was a rebel that got to do his own thing. At 19, he failed out of college twice. He asked his Dad what he should do. His Dad suggested he help people. Through this suggestion and 100 days of therapy, Nick found his living passion. This path to success led him into ministry first with the church and then through helping people figure out how they can find their living passion. This means the most success to him because he ministers more now than he ever did in a church. Nick and Wes discuss how many different ways the Bible can be interpreted. People search for how someone interprets the Bible to what they want to hear. Nick’s secret to success is being a champion for the misfits, misunderstood, and the rebels. He says there are people that were raised in the church and found their passion with ministry, then the very people that instilled that passion turned away from them. These people want to do amazing things. One success quote Nick says is “you can’t do Epic Shit with Basic people.” You set up for success by doing it scared. Another success quote is “Failure is a green light.” This means failure is not the end. People can learn from failure by asking themselves what can I do to make it better? What do I change? One of Nick’s mSupport the showFor merchandise, podcast and youtube: westankersley.comYou have a limited offer you can use now, that gets you up to 48% off yourfirst subscription or 20% off one time purchases with code WEST20 atcheckoutYou can claim it at:https://magicmind.com/WEST20Join The Patreonhttps://patreon.com/WestankersleyFollow Shaping Success https://shapingsuccesspodcast.buzzsprout.com/Get Ars Victorioushttps://a.co/d/5f4todGhttps://a.co/d/5f4todGEmail [email protected] for guest ideas or to be on the show!
