Between 1988 and 1995, he sold, installed, and trained teams at more than 150 locations on cutting-edge computer graphic design systems—placing him firmly among the first generation of innovators in the modern sign industry.
During this time, John recognized a major shift: as businesses transitioned from paint to graphics, many lacked the creative expertise needed to produce designs with strong marketing impact. The marketplace became saturated with repetitive, uninspired work, leaving a significant gap—especially within the small-business sector.
