This month's episode is proof that good things can come in pairs, card pairs preferably, or a pair of deuces if the odds favor you. And good fortunes are ever in the court of Kenny Rogers in his second outing as gambler Brady Hawkes in The Gambler 2: The Adventure Continues. In this first part of a three-hour film, Kenny Rogers and Billy Montana are back, on board that faithful train rolling down the track to the big poker tournament. But they're in for a bit of layover when a gang of thieves show up and kidnap Kenny's son Jeremiah as hostage for a gold shipment bound for Jubilee, Arizona. That means it's time to perform a heroic rescue, a task that Kenny Rogers tries to do on his own; however, he changes his mind when he realizes he's up against a band of 60 and even at his best, he could not hope to defeat so many. In the end, he agrees to go at them with Billy Montana and a handful of experts, the last of which is a female hired gun who may be headed to an untimely demise before Kenny can enlist her in his cause.
