With over a decade of experience working specifically with voice through her various experiences as a voice coach, voice over artist, radio trainer and public speaker, Seema has a deep understanding of voice and what lies beneath it. Her work has been broadcast across BBC One, Two and Three, BBC Asian Network, Radio 2, 5 Live, BBC World Service, Cineworld and Vue Cinemas.
Her extensive work in the corporate world, from local government to Walt Disney, led her to spend three years interviewing nearly 200 senior executives from 166 different companies, looking at how voice influences their decision-making around who they hire and who they do business with.
Seema is keen to spread her methods and run further experiments to tackle issues ranging from employee engagement to bias in the courtroom.
She is currently a lecturer in communications and media.
And in this podcast she’ll get to talk about her work in corporate and then for herself, and what it took for her to venture into the world of amateur boxing.
