In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from April 25, 2024, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports.  To start the episode, Ryan discusses the SAU lacrosse teams, where both teams have lost in the conference tournament, ending their seasons.  Following lacrosse, it’s the track and field teams, where SAU succeeded at the Meet of Champions, turning their attention to the next meet.  To close out the first half, it’s the tennis teams, who lost early into the postseason tournament.  After a station break, Ryan breaks down the softball and baseball teams, both of which are looking to make the postseason.  Afterwards, it’s SAU golf, where the women won the conference championship and then men prepare for the conference.  To close out the episode, Ryan discusses the breaking news of cheer and dance.All episodes of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” air live on KALA HD-2, 106.1 FM in the metro Quad Cities, starting at 6:30 P.M.
