Episode Synopsis
Send us a textLife can get hard but having that positive mindset can make all the difference. What we tell ourselves in our head becomes who we are. What we say to our kids and what our kids say to themselves matters. This short mindful story talks about the caterpillar and how they do hard things like making a cocoon and turning into a butterfly. It is similar to the hard things that we and our children do every day. Some things might seem easy to us but these things can feel like a lot to our children and to others. Let us listen and open up the discussion on what seems challenging to us and our children. By talking about what hard things we accomplished will encourage us and our children to keep pushing ahead. Let us try and approach lives challenges with an "I can do it" mentality verse "I can't do it". Just one word can make the difference. Calm Kid Journal are listed below for more connection tools too.
