I’m in an area in my life where I’m learning the patience of God. His love is characterized by so much but amongst those is his patience, his love is never ending and never failing. He sees through the work he has started in us. I have the privilege of experiencing his love in such a different and unique way, a way unlike the one I have known. God is Holy, he is unlike man. And so is everything he does. He loves, but not like us. In this season I have learnt what it truly means to be loved by God. Not through my own trauma but through the sacrifice of his one and only son. The cross is an image of Gods love for his children and his hate for sin.“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
