Listen "A frustrating, but great day!"
Episode Synopsis
I asked God to help me get better, so he gave me an idea to do just that. I already committed to doing it in my head when I realized I underestimated the total distance by almost a full mile.I chose to go low on fuel. I chose to go in the hottest, most humid part of the day. I chose a trail I just found that was VERY technical with multiple hills, a tight path, and lots of things grabbing at your feet. Then why was I frustrated? Because I didn't have the skill I wanted. And to learn them, you have to put yourself in a position that's just above your skill level. That leads to frustration during the training. A necessary part of skill development.I learned so much. I failed a few times but succeeded way more! There was a lot of confidence gained today. Some limitations I thought I had were challenged and defeated. What a great day!No excuses!
