You have heard that the Bible says you are to have no other gods than Jehova or the God of the Bible, but have you considered what is meant by “other gods”? There is the obvious like Baal from the Bible, or maybe even the Greek gods, however as Pastor Dan points out, anything can become a god to you. Anything or anyone that you give your time and devotion to. If you aren’t careful the things you are passionate about could take the place of God in your life. It’s ok to have passions, just make sure they aren’t your god.
