Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!This week I am going to do a fun ranking list. I decided to look back at my game of the year winners and nominees from the 1980's, and rank the top 10 best games for that period. It was a lot of fun putting this list together and I surprised myself with some of the games that made the list! Not all game of the year winners placed in the top 10. When they all have to go up against each other for the best of the decade, and not just the year of release, the list looks a bit different!
