Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. In honour of the year of the fighting game, I look at 2 of the biggest and most important franchises in the fighting game genre and pit them head to head against one another. Many have hoped to one day see a Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat crossover video game, and this is the next best thing to that! As both storied franchises have big new entries out this year, I thought it was time to see which one has left a bigger mark in the annals of video game history. Who will come out on top?
