Episode Synopsis

The aim of this short series of podcasts is to see how both  businesses and the voluntary sector have weathered the pandemic storm. We explore  if there have been shared experiences that have helped and potentially if any of these can go on or be developed further to help strengthen the links between the two. The title reflects a key lesson learnt in the episode...
Joining me on this episode are Cat Davison, Director of Service and Social Impact at Sevenoaks School and Anna Firth, Co Founder and Director of Invicta Academy.
Sevenoaks School is a co-educational day and boarding school for 11 to 18-year-olds which is located on a 100-acre campus in the Kent countryside
Invicta Academy is the largest online school in the country. It was set up with the sole purpose of helping the children of the United Kingdom catch up on missed learning. They have delivered over 1.2m minutes of learning since it's inception earlier this year.
We discuss the collaboration forged between Sevenoaks School and Invicta. We also discuss wider projects that Sevenoaks has been involved in and how Invicta both was founded and how it has developed.
I hope you enjoy it and we will have the next episode out next Monday.
