His home remained the ONLY one standing while all the neighboring homes were unfortunately lost to the fire. Michael talks about his home, referred to as "The Sycamore House", and how he created it to essentially be a laboratory for sustainable architecture. Certified LEED Platinum, the Sycamore House features so many unique elements that contributed to his home prevailing.
