The Production Linked Incentive Schemes have been approved by the Government of India under the aegis of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative to encourage domestic manufacturing, re-jig the global supply chain and to make Indian a manufacturing hub of the world. The PLI Scheme for Textiles has recently been notified by the Ministry of Textiles.
